Use MailMaker only for lawful and authorized work. Review provider scope and cost before submitting a task, secure every credential and API key, and reconcile the final task record. Failed items consume zero credits; third-party providers and downstream account use remain outside that credit guarantee.
Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service govern access to MailMaker.io, the MailMaker workspace, APIs, account-creation task features, credits, exports, documentation, and related services. By creating an account, purchasing credits, submitting a task, using an API key, or otherwise using the service, you agree to these Terms.
If you use MailMaker for a company or other organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. A separately signed agreement or order form controls where it expressly conflicts with these Terms.
Eligibility and account registration
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement. Registration information must be accurate, current, and associated with an email address you control.
You are responsible for activity performed through your workspace, including activity by employees, contractors, integrations, and anyone who receives your login session or API credentials. Notify MailMaker promptly if you believe an account or key has been compromised.
- Use accurate registration details
- Protect passwords and API keys
- Limit workspace access to authorized operators
- Keep recovery and contact information current
Tasks, results, and third-party providers
A MailMaker order is an asynchronous task. The service may report states such as queued, processing, completed, partial, or failed. You should use the task ID and final task record—not elapsed time—as the authoritative source for requested, successful, and failed counts.
Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook, Proton, and iCloud are third-party services. Their availability, verification requirements, technical behavior, policies, and later account actions are outside MailMaker's control and may change without notice. MailMaker does not operate or represent those providers.
A completed MailMaker result means the creation task returned successful output. It does not guarantee permanent account availability, acceptance by another product, unrestricted future use, or continued compatibility with a provider's systems.
Credits, pricing, and failed-item protection
Credits are prepaid service units used only within MailMaker. They are not currency, cryptocurrency, stored value, or an investment product, and they cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash unless MailMaker expressly agrees or applicable law requires it.
The provider rate and estimated total are shown before task submission. Under the current standard pricing model, Gmail and Yahoo use one credit per successful account, Outlook and Proton use two, and iCloud uses three. Current rates displayed in the workspace at submission control if pricing changes later.
Only successfully completed items consume credits. An item reported as failed consumes zero credits, and any temporary reservation for that failed item returns to the workspace balance automatically. A partial task is charged only for its successful portion.
Returned credits are a balance correction, not a cash refund. Payment refunds, promotional credits, disputed transactions, taxes, and unused-balance treatment follow the checkout terms, any applicable order form, and applicable law. Contact support with the task ID if task counts and balance movement do not agree.
Credentials, exports, and API security
Account results and exports may contain sensitive credentials. You must retrieve, store, distribute, rotate, and remove them through access-controlled systems appropriate to your use case. Do not place passwords, recovery data, or raw exports in public repositories, ordinary logs, unsecured tickets, or broadly shared chat channels.
API keys must be kept secret, scoped to the minimum required access, and rotated when exposure is suspected. Integrations should use idempotent creation requests, bounded polling, quantity and budget limits, and explicit stop conditions. You are responsible for actions authenticated with your keys until they are revoked.
Prohibited activities
You may not use MailMaker to violate law, provider rules, third-party rights, or the security and integrity of any system. You may not conceal the true requester or purpose of a task, bypass quantity or security controls, or help another person perform prohibited activity.
- Phishing, fraud, impersonation, harassment, or deceptive messaging
- Spam, abusive automation, credential stuffing, or unauthorized access
- Circumventing provider safeguards, rate limits, suspensions, or verification controls
- Malware distribution, data theft, exploitation, or interference with another service
- Reselling or sharing access in a way that hides ownership or defeats account controls
- Submitting tasks without authority, a legitimate purpose, or required consent
Availability and product changes
MailMaker may add, modify, pause, or discontinue providers, features, rates, limits, and APIs to address security, provider changes, legal requirements, operational reliability, or product development. When practical, material changes affecting active customers will be communicated through the website, workspace, or account contact information.
Maintenance, provider outages, network failures, and security events may delay or interrupt tasks. Do not design a critical workflow without reasonable limits, retries, reconciliation, and a manual recovery path.
Suspension and termination
MailMaker may limit, suspend, or terminate access when necessary to investigate suspected abuse, protect users or providers, comply with law, prevent security harm, address unpaid amounts, or enforce these Terms. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we may request additional information or give an opportunity to correct the issue.
You may stop using the service at any time. Before closing a workspace, retrieve any results you are entitled to retain and remove integrations or keys. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, restrictions, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute-related provisions—remain in effect.
Ownership and feedback
MailMaker and its licensors retain rights in the service, software, interface, documentation, branding, and related materials. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service while your account remains authorized and compliant.
You retain rights you hold in information you submit. You grant MailMaker the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, and display that information to provide, secure, support, and maintain the service. If you voluntarily provide feedback, MailMaker may use it without restriction or compensation, provided it does not identify you publicly without permission.
Disclaimers
Except for the explicit failed-item credit treatment described above and any rights that cannot legally be excluded, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. MailMaker does not warrant uninterrupted operation, a particular provider's acceptance, permanent third-party account availability, or fitness for an undisclosed purpose.
You are responsible for evaluating whether the service and each output are suitable for your workflow, performing downstream acceptance checks, and maintaining appropriate backups, access controls, and compliance records.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MailMaker and its operators, suppliers, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, business opportunities, or third-party account access arising from use of the service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to MailMaker during the three months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
Changes, questions, and notices
MailMaker may update these Terms as the product, provider environment, or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear at the top of this page. If a change materially affects existing rights or obligations, we will use reasonable means to provide notice before it takes effect when required.
Questions about these Terms, billing, credit reconciliation, or authorized use can be sent to hello@mailmaker.io. Do not include passwords, recovery data, or raw account exports in an email to support.
